I've notice that the raffles are pretty much dying out now. last i checked there was only one active raffle, and that ends soon and no new ones have been posted since then. It's starting to look like this feature was added to make us happy and now it's going to be forgotten after all.

firstly, i bet you that the staff run out of ideas. you can give away months of premium membership and points, but everything else depends on what is given to the zone. either by companies, or by individual users (like raffling an msn address or something)
also the staff arn't always around to put new raffles up- i'm sure no one has forgotten about it.
though saying that, look at alternate universe... need i say more
well, if users have ideas for raffles do feel free to suggest them and we can put them up there so long as they're reasonable.
If any user wants to donate a raffle prize we can do that too.
I will put some points raffles up now (one for premium, one for non premium), but anything that involves costing the site money does need to go through admin first..
Yeah. the feature is a little more complicated than someone just saying, hey; let's put up an iTunes gift card, for example. Having said that, it would be nice to see some more prizes like that up there. Maybe it will pick up again around the holidays?
there are more points raffles up and I will put some more premiums/name changes ones up tonight when I have more time.
With raffles that cost money that is down to the admins and how much there is available to fund prizes. In the meantime if anyone has any ideas for raffles that don't cost do give me a shout..
What if someone was willing to donate money for raffle prizes?
I really like the idea of offering up giftcards for different sites and such, and I'd like to see those in the raffles again.
It would be nice for different prizes to be offered, and I know that takes money.
I think we need to be notified whenever the raffle page is updated as well; saves us going in there all the time for no reason.

yes, that would be rather helpful, just making it a toggle setting would help for those who don't care about the raffles
If we can't do a subscription, I suggest that whoever updates the raffles, also updates the news file with the information.

Yes, thanks for the new ones, but now how about doing the drawings for the old ones? Some of us would like to know if we won.
